Rules

bidtorank is a paid sponsorship directory. The amount attached to each permanent listing determines its rank. It does not sell chances to win a product or prize: every cleared checkout buys or raises a sponsored listing that remains on the board.

How ranking works

• Sponsorships are whole US dollars, $1 minimum, $1 at a time.
• Every listing earns a placement score equal to its sponsorship total plus 5% per full day held, up to 10× the sponsorship total. A long-held listing can therefore rank above a newer listing with a larger total.
• To move into a spot, exceed its placement score by $1. A smaller sponsorship still buys a permanent listing at the rank that amount supports.
• Direct-move surcharge: choosing a sponsorship total more than double the current #1 total adds a 100% surcharge. The full checkout price is shown before payment.
• Equal placement scores stay in the order they were paid — the older listing keeps the higher rank.
• Listings are permanent. Rank can move. The link stays.

What you can list

• A product website on https.
• Chat and invite links are not allowed.
• Sexual content is not allowed.

What payment buys

• Nothing is published until Stripe checkout completes.
• Your permanent sponsored listing is public. Clicks go to the URL you submitted.
• There is no prize, drawing, winner, or losing payment.
• Paid listings use rel="sponsored".
